Ready to be the change?

Each year, we select some of the brightest and best graduates to join our international Global Graduate Programme.

We are BAT. One of the world’s leading multinational companies, with brands sold in over 180 markets. And we bring together the world’s brightest and best minds.

That’s why we value uniqueness. If you’re ambitious, our future leader development programmes in the fields of Marketing, Human Resources and Finance will let you achieve your potential and give you the opportunity to become an outstanding leader in a world-class business. The programme consists of the twelve-month Global Graduate Programme, plus twelve months of further individual development which will help you to hone your skills to perfection.

During the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself on different projects, working with cross-market and cross-functional teams, under the supervision of your personal coach and mentor. Furthermore, you’ll be attending our global BAT Academy where you will meet up with all our graduates worldwide and have sessions with our international senior leaders. It’s tough. It’s fast-paced. And it’ll stretch you to the limit. The only question is: Are you up to the challenge?

What we offer:

  •  Fast-track career development
  •  Possibility to work several months abroad
  •  Perspective to take over a management role
  •  Clear development plans to continue growing as a high potential
  •  Salary starting at €55,000 annually (in case of a Swiss contract CHF90,000)

Global Graduate Programme – Operations

Your programme will kick off with an intense onboarding at our site in Bayreuth. After this, you will be able to get to know the main production areas for semi-finished and finished tobacco products as well as Logistics within Operations to gain excellent basic skills and a profound overall understanding. The programme also includes the option of gaining insights into cigarette manufacturing in Boncourt, Switzerland. It further gives you the opportunity to profit from short stops in other departments such as Engineering. Upon successful completion of the programme, one prospect is to take on a management role in Operations within Europe.
